CCTVs for Miri

MIRI - The public could soon walk in added security once the installation of close circuit television (CCTV) along strategic points in the city of Miri is completed. Miri City mayor Dato Wee Han Wen revealed that the video images will be transmitted through a wireless network to the central command centre at the council building.

Apart from this the council will also be installing CCTV units at the Miri City Fan within this year, thus making it the first public park in Miri to be quipped with such equipment.
